We are "Proud of YOU", Nevertheless!

The Hong Kong 10s, took place last Wed & Thursday. I was told that the weather was a little bit cranky, but the games were nothing but fierce. The Eagles got through in the Cup Quarter Finals but lost our way in the Cup Semi Finals. Competition was never this stiff, and I felt that this year, HK 10s staged one of the most competitive bunch. There were so many big names, big clubs, and although the victory was not ours, we are indeed proud to be apart of it! To the organizers of the HK 10s, well done, and thank you for the great hospitality, and to our “wounded” eagles, we are truly proud of you!

So, what’s in store for us after the HK tour, we will be organizing our annual MSSS/SRU/IJM Tens for Under 18s, 15s, 12 & 10s also fondly known as the Khoon Siah Cup, on April 8th and 9th, in the Home of the Borneo Eagles. For those who are interested to find out more, send us an email to (borneoeagles@yahoo.com)or join our virtual community via Facebook.

Before we end this brief update, we would like to extend our heartfelt condolences to the families of the earthquake victims in Myanmar, our prayers and thoughts are with all of you.

Have a good weekend everyone, be SAFE & stay SAFE. Adios!

This is Kim, signing off!

Ok, our "Pick" for Items of the Week will have to be a song by Phil Trainer, call Wounded Eagle, A book by S. Mills on how to tackle sports injuries, and a motivational book by Drew Brees & Friends, on how to "Come Back Stronger" after a fall!  To our Eagles out there, we know you can do it & we know you will soar higher after this!
