Borneo 7s 2015, what a weekend it’s been! The weather was
hot, and what made it much hotter were the ruggers who, some making a comeback
to the grounds of the Eagles, and most, was their first-warming the grounds!
The 14th edition of Borneo Sevens, dubbed “The
Greenest Sevens in the World”, attracted the best sides of Asia & Pacific
Regions. Top notch games of rugby were displayed over the weekend, with the
presence of 32 teams, a combination of national teams, international and local
clubs. For fans, they had a choice of watching the games live or even via live
stream on the Borneo Eagles website. Three categories featured were the Asia Pacific Cross Regional Sevens (Men & Women), Club
International Men & Women and U16 boys.
Congratulations to all Winners! Thank you to all
participating teams, sponsors, members of the press, fans & friends of
rugby who made this possible. To the whole crew of the organising committee,
congrats for the job well done, and to the Borneo Eagles, we are PROUD to have
you GUYS home and ROCK the GROUNDS!
